Inspired Orgins
In 2007, Shelly, the visionary behind Jah's Natural Unisex Hair Salon, set out to create a space where natural hair could be celebrated. Growing up in Saint Ann, Jamaica, Shelly's love for natural hair began early. She discovered her talent and passion while styling her grandmother's hair at just seven years old. From that moment, she knew her calling was to nurture and uplift others through hair care.

Shelly pursued formal cosmetology training, earning a Natural Hair Certification in New Jersey. Having embraced her own loc journey twice, Shelly combines personal experience with professional expertise to serve clients of all hair types.
